Symfiliosi and its experts participate in
The European Labour Law Network (ELLN), which promotes the co-operation between Labour Law Academics in Europe. Against this background ELLN has two goals: a scientific and an advisory goal. The network will be politically neutral. However, it strives to play a role in the national and international debate on labour law (and market) related matters. One of the most important EU-projects of this era is the so-called 'Lisbon-project', that is aiming at creating a more competitive economy. The flexibility of the labour market plays an important role in this. An EU-Employment Taskforce reported under the title
'Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. Creating more employment in Europe' in 2003 in view of reforming the labour market. It forms a challenge for the European Labour Law Network to examine the development towards a more flexible labour market in the light of Labour Law Standards
